At Headshots by Ronni, we make the process of creating your professional headshot smooth and stress-free. The journey starts with a quick consultation call where we’ll discuss your goals and preferences for the session. I’m here to answer any questions you might have and ensure you feel completely comfortable. Together, we’ll cover details like outfit choices, backdrop colors, and the overall look that aligns with your personal brand.
Outfit Planning for Your Session
I recommend bringing several outfit options to the session to give us variety. This allows us to select the outfits that best complement your professional image and brand. Where Will the Headshot Be Taken?
You can choose between two convenient options for your session:
In-Studio at my Delray Beach location – My home studio offers a controlled environment with professional lighting, making it ideal for creating high-quality headshots that highlight your best features.
On-Location – If you prefer a different setting, we can arrange to shoot at a location that fits your brand.
No matter where we shoot, I’ll guide you throughout the entire process. Many people feel awkward in front of the camera, but don’t worry—I’m here to help you feel natural and confident. I’ll direct your poses, facial expressions, and even the small details to ensure we get the perfect shot.
The Session – The Fun Part!
The session itself is designed to be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. You won’t have to worry about posing yourself—I’ll be with you every step of the way, guiding you through each movement and expression. Using professional lighting, I’ll coach you on how to look your best, helping you express confidence and approachability in each frame.
We also use a live feed during the shoot, meaning you’ll be able to see the images in real-time on a large screen. This way, you can see exactly how your outfit, pose, and expression are coming across, allowing you to make adjustments on the spot—whether it’s fixing your hair, changing your shirt, or tweaking your posture. This process ensures that you feel confident and in control.
Sessions typically last around 30 minutes, though we may take up to an hour if needed, depending on how many outfit changes or adjustments you’d like to make.
Post-Session: Choosing Your Favorites
After the session, we’ll sit down together to review the images. You’ll have the chance to select your favorite shots, and I’ll help you narrow it down to the ones that best represent your professional image. This process usually takes around 10-15 minutes.
Professional Retouching
What sets Headshots by Ronni apart is our dedication to making sure you look your absolute best in the final images. After we’ve selected your headshots, I’ll professionally retouch them to enhance their quality. This includes whitening teeth, brightening eyes, and refining skin as needed, ensuring you look polished and ready for any professional platform.
The final, edited images will be uploaded to a private online gallery, where you’ll be able to access them for one full year. You’ll receive both web and print-sized files, so your headshots can be used for anything from LinkedIn profiles to marketing materials and job applications.
